About Emily

Early Years  

Emily Englert (née Emily Harvey), born close to Oxford, England, attended Gordonstoun School in Scotland. She moved to Germany in 2006, after graduating from the University of Bristol with an honours degree in German and Spanish.

Career 

Her business journey started at Musikhaus Thomann (>1€ billion turnover company, the largest music retailer worldwide), where she worked as Head of International Sales, managing a team of approx 60 employees from 19 countries. Upon moving to Munich, Emily began a new role as Head of Community Management and member of the Management Board for InterNations, taking on a business development and strategic role. 

Trainer & Coach 

In 2020, Emily decided to use her business expertise and enter the field of coaching. She re-trained and successfully gained her CELTA certificate, attaining the highest accolade, to train professionals in Business English. Emily is an extremely passionate, experienced and people-oriented coach who has clients from a multitude of companies, ranging from C-Level to junior. Emily is responsible for the overall management of the company, training (with a specific focus on the Executive Club Program) and the mentoring of Harvey’s Academy trainers. 

Emily has a team of trainers, who all have industry background, expert knowledge in a range of business fields and are native speakers. Emily ensures she has the best quality CELTA trainers, who are able to offer her clients an extremely professional and rewarding experience at Harvey’s Academy.
